1978 saw me in Oregon, inland from Reedsport and the family I was living with and I marveled over the sight of a centipede spiral 4 feet across and filled with millions of centipedes moving counterclockwise. Reincarnated moslems??

Wow! That sounds freaky. Nature is weird sometimes. I once stayed in a place in northeast Costa Rica where there we some sort of "daddy longlegs" migration, and there were so many they would get bunched up and blown around like tumbleweeds. Had to sweep them off the porch and windows. I'm glad they weren't centipedes.
