I love A&W, but what they did to Hires really ticks me off.

They bought Hires and distribute them in very small numbers. It's a shame because Hires is the better root beer, imo.

Luckily, Im in an area where local people make their own root beer, but I always pick up a pack of Hires when I see it traveling.

Virgils is really good too, even their sugar free root beer is decent for what it is. (Not sure of their political affiliation though)
