I've been keeping eyes on the Ever Given situation periodically throughout the day. It's just after 3:30 am, Egypt local time, and the Great Bitter Lake is once again empty, just Big Green herself.....and HALKI, a bulk container ship which has been stationed just off the EG's stern (about .2 nm away) for the past two hours. At least, that's how she appears to be stationed. Her status is "under way", but her future track seems to be locked down. Any experienced boatfags out there able to shed any light on this weirdness?

HALKI update: just after 4 am, local time. She's in the northbound queue to exit into the Med, with other ships fore and aft, so that 2 hours of apparently sitting astern of the EG but status "under way" adds a definite layer of strangeness to the whole situation.
As far as I can tell, Big Green is all by her lonesome in the Great Bitter Lake.
