Correct me if I'm wrong.
Without earth's magnetic field we wouldn't have electricity, right?
Because sunflares and cosmic particals would cause EMP strikes on our power grid and electric devices and they would shut down. Right?
Even our skin wouldn't be able te handle te sunlight.
How does electric devices such as satellites and robots in space and on Mars survive or even work if those places are unstable environments where there's no protection against cosmic particles?
Keep in mind if the magnetic field of the earth flips our devices and power grid wouldn't work either.
I also found this in an article
However, if the magnetic field gets substantially weaker and stays that way for an appreciable amount of time Earth will be less protected from the oodles of high-energy particles that are constantly flying around in space. This means that everything on the planet will be exposed to higher levels of radiation, which over time could produce an increase in diseases like cancer, as well as harm delicate spacecraft and power grids on Earth.
Also electricity in space is called Birkland currents. The plasma universe theory is gaining a lot of traction in the physics community and Birkland currents are a big part of the theory. There is also the eltrical universe theory but it is considered fringe, even though it has more tangible proof than current astrophysics.
Birkland currents are a specific type of electrical effect, not a general name for Space electricity. Birkland currents are multiple co-axial currents running counter-rotating, along a magnetic "axis" such as between the poles of a magnetic field, we can see their effects at the earth's poles, known as Northern Lights or Borealis.
