With due respect for your comment & as a fren of this board; Yes we do need Church.
Where does it say in the Bible that we don’t need church?
The Bible states clearly the opposite of your comment. It is in the Book of Exodus 20: 8-11
The Third Commandment given by God to Moses clearly states "Remember to keep holy Sabbath day. Six days you may labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. No work may be done then either by you, or your son or daughter, or your male or female slave, or your beast, or by the alien who lives with you. In six days the Lord made the heavens and earth, the sea and all that is in them; but on the seventh day He rested. That is why the Lord has blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy"
God doesn’t need us. However, we need Him. People need Him. We were made to know Him. It is in the Church and not the secular world that we learn about Him and the biblical lessons written about.
I can’t imagine learning about God from someone who doesn’t attend church.
(Ex 20:8-11).
God does not play word games. Since He commands it, He means it. How does one worship and adore God in the way that the Creator of the universe deserves?
In the times of chaos of such good and evil, we need to make Sunday the Lord's Day.
Voltaire (d. 1791), the great critic and attacker of the Church, said, "If you want to kill Christianity, you must abolish Sunday."
Sadly, many have abolished Sunday on their own by how they live their lives, and in so doing, have abolished the presence of God in their lives. We would all be much better off if we were mindful of Sunday as a day for worshipping God as a Church, praying to Him and sharing ourselves and our love with our families.
Sabbath is Saturday though, not Sunday.
Maybe this is something you learned at Church?
It depends on one’s faith. Yes, I did learn about the Sabbath from the pulpit at church and at university, thank you for asking. History and literature write about some religious organizations (Seventh-day Adventists, Seventh-Day Baptists, and certain others) claiming that Christians must not worship on Sunday but on Saturday, the Jewish Sabbath. They claim that, at some unnamed time after the apostolic age, the Church “changed” the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday.
However, passages of Scripture such as Acts 20:7, 1 Corinthians 16:2, Colossians 2:16-17, and Revelation 1:10 indicate that, even during New Testament times, the Sabbath is no longer binding and that Christians are to worship on the Lord’s day, Sunday, instead.
If you could prove to me from the Holy Bible that the sabbath is Sunday the first day of the week and not the seventh day I will give you all my money and Bitcoin
LOL bro. It's up to you to prove what I stated as being wrong.
It's your choice to believe or not.
The earliest Christians gathered and worshipped on Sunday in honor of the Resurrection.
