My mom did some volunteer work at the local food bank after she retired. She quit after a couple months because of the amount of people pulling in with brand new luxury cars was apparently ridiculous. Many dressed she said like they were going to church. She told me she had better things to do than volunteer her time to hand out free stuff to people living far better than she ever has.

Honestly, the entire idea of a non-profit "business" is flawed and needs to be purged.
Remove the entire classification and create something completely community based. Instead of employees, current businesses should be allowed to allocate hours for employees to spend on this new entity, including management. Business tax write-offs should be minimum wage for the local area. Head it with a business owner in the community and mandate a CPA. None of this should be a full time job.

Everyone here would be upset if a bus driver was wearing a Biden Harris hat. As long as the rules are consistent, I don't see a problem. Also, they didn't fire him for it, they said he couldn't wear it. He quit. This isn't a freedom of speech issue any more than teachers complaining that they can't use the first amendment to push socialism in schools.
Eleven different Q subreddits got shut down because they were "dangerous". People fled trying to find someplace without censorship to speak and ended up at a reddit alternative called Voat, which at the time was basically a neo nazi forum. I bet Reddit pushed a lot of people into extremism with that exposure.

Where are the families with kids living on the streets? Guarantee social services will pull that kid away if reported.

Yea, there are big health care problems here. A lot of it comes down to egregious pricing. Illegal immigrants seem to get free healthcare here though so yippee! At least we aren’t pushing assisted suicide to our veterans.

Same as above. I have insurance and my employer has a doctors office for employees in my building. They will even freely fill my prescriptions on site.

Go after the employer. Why is this so difficult? Make it some people are terrified to even accidentally hire an illegal alien. Go after not just HR but executives with jail and fines. Start fining companies percentages of last years gross profit earned for each hired.
People here are going to cheer about them closing but a LOT of rural local TV programming including local news will undoubtedly be gone once their funding dries up. CBP funding is 25-50% of most rural tv revenue source.
This won’t affect NPR or PBS as liberals and private companies will likely fund them to the end of time even with no tax dollars going their way.

The "demo" mode it was running was clearly halted. The "robot" shown likely has zero sensors and basically blind running a script. Its a proof of concept that they can build robots that impress people with hopes of getting investments. Stuff like this will set back legit consumer robotics.
