The worst reason to get the vaccine is so that you'll be allowed to do things you want to do. Don't get me wrong. If some folks choose to take the vaccine out of concern for their health, or because they want to be sure they're safe around elderly relatives, I get it. I don't agree with it, because I think the science is shoddy, but I understand that mindset.
What I don't understand is people who willingly say "I won't let a stupid shot prevent me from doing the things I love, even though I know I'm being coerced." At that point, you've stated directly what you can be bought for. You've decided that principle doesn't matter to a certain degree, and that someone else (someone evil, no less) can tell you precisely what to put in your own body.
Had this chat with a Christian friend of mine, and it has me rethinking what I used to believe about the Mark of the Beast. I used to think it was about fearing death more than God, or the worship of the antichrist. Now I'm starting to think it's the worship of self and of pleasure. This vaccine situation might just be the precursor to everything that is to come.
I think that the true mark of the beast is when you sell yourself out for convenience. You are willing to back down from a possible fight for your life, so that you aren't singled out, inconvenienced, etc. Revelation 14:9-11 says,
And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink the wine of God's wrath, poured full strength into the cup of his anger, and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest, day or night, these worshipers of the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.” The vaccine, to me, is the clearest example of this fact. IF something like that is easy to get, if a product is free of charge, YOU ARE THE PRODUCT. Worth noting, imo
