Maybe they're waiting for us to clean up this crap and will then they'll talk with us. Until that happens, it might be like us driving by a neighbor's house and seeing them fighting all the time, throwing shit out the car windows when they're driving, being rude to others in the neighbor hood - just being generally avoidable. And they've quarantined the planet, so to speak, because of our nukes.
