Seeing how it was just standing completely still before, would that mean it had two anchors down and now it pulled one up, allowing it to drift around the anchor point? I guess that means the anchor is mounted at the center of that circle.
I'm not an expert on ships. Especially ones this massive.
I noticed this myself and checked all the wind speeds and directions on many of the timestamped data points - the wind was the same and from the same direction the whole time - no reason for the wind to cause this.
Tides might cause this, but I'm not familiar with the tidal currents and how they change in the canal.
What I will say is that this isn't how the ship has been moving 'at anchor' overnight during the last week or so that I've been keeping an eye on it.
Of course, ships this big probably have a stern anchor too, although nothing is obvious in the pics. Still, they should be able to keep it from spinning. Seems very strange. Maybe they needed a wind change due to the smell. Hmmm............
Is no one on site who can provide an accurate update? The fact that these operations are so covert and not being covered by the fake news should be beyond suspicious.
Even though that particular stretch of the canal is actually pretty remote, it isn't that far from some notable ports. Not to mention, the Ever Given is way off shore in the middle of the Great Bitter Lake.
To charter a helicopter or skiff on retainer to snoop around the ship would cost a bit, but not particularly unreasonable.
Seeing how this is the biggest global economic debacle in the last 10 years, you'd think journalists would fork over the money to cover the ship bow to stern, but no...
This is a ratings gold story they are just ignoring. Normies usually eat this sort of thing up.
Funny name, with a hint of hopium that it is go time. That's probably a stretch by me though.
Aside from that, I can't find anything special about them. Other than they left he same southern port at As Suways Anchorage (Egypt) and seem to be headed north past the Ever Given on route to Port Said (Egypt). The Dragon doesn't have a destination listed, but it looks like it is following the Sea Star Livestock.
Is Jen Psaki onboard?
Kek. I see what you did there.
Good one. Lol
It looks like it's spinning around it's bow anchor. We know how strong that wind can be.
You're probably right.

Current flows from the med to the Red Sea
That sounds like it would be unlikely to push a boat round in a circle, even if it's on using one anchor.
Agreed

I agree, this is suspicious as hell.

The Stephen Wallace Dick tug boat is headed toward the Ever Given, aka "The Dick of the Red Sea"
Just thought that was funny.
Note, the angle of the ship displayed here is not necessarily accurate to reality.
The program approximates the angle of the ship based on its path taken.
Repost, I had a typo in the title.

The Dragon and the Sea Star Livestock, both livestock vessels, just skirted by the Ever Given.

Both apart of the Togolese Republic.

Its sign language for CIA saying: " oh, what should I do. ..what should I do?"
Boats don't sit still when they are anchored, especially if the water is deep. My guess is the anchor is right in the middle of the circle
Kinda looks like a Q SRS.
Is it swinging on its anchor?
