I work for one of these national calendar sites, www.nationaltoday.com. For the most basic functionality of the site, we deployed all major federally recognized holidays and from there started creating “days” on behalf of our agencies clients and days we thought we could “sell”. Ie. National wine day, national coffee day, etc. and would sell “opportunities” for brands to work with us and post native product ads within the page copy.
