I was thinking about the possibility of the Evergreen having been hit with something. What if that was the reason for it being stuck? What if its properly damaged and can't go on its journey? And maybe everything we are hearing about crew getting arrested etc. is just a cover-up. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
Understood. But to me the connotation here is not about what ultimately happened with the sub in 1776, but a reference to it here and now having to do with the ever given ship in suez

I think this anon is suggesting that a sub was involved with the ever given.
5th fleet post time : 7:58.
Post 758 leads to a date of sept 7, 1776
What happened on that date, the first submarine attack ever!
Coincidence???
Did a sub with navy seals take something off the ever given ?
That “turtle” submarine attack from the revolutionary war, although first attempt of its kinda was extremely embarrassing for patriots...:( idk
I doubt it was embarrassing. A disappointment maybe. But it was uncharted territory.

I doubt it was embarrassing. At the least it would cause your enemy increased worry from a threat from a new direction.
