Right now it seems to me that they have recently INCREASED the confusion around Covid-19. That must be a tactic. It actually reminds me of what they were doing one year ago, when they first did their full-out media confusion blitz. First they got everyone thoroughly scared and confused with nonsense - the symptoms are this, now they’re this, but also sometimes that, but don’t worry we know it comes from here, or it could be there, or no over here, wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, it’s a bioweapon, no it’s just a flu, come to Chinatown, don’t come to Chinatown - and then they sort of backed off a bit and let us sort things out.
But right as people thought this whole thing could be winding down, boom - they hit us with another round of confusion: there are variants, there aren’t variants, they’re from here, no here, there are four vaccines, no three, one is two shots and two are one shot, or no, reverse that, it’s two masks, not three masks, but also just wear three masks, but don’t worry, cases are down, I mean up, okay they are down in old people but up in young people, who are more affected by the variants, except when they’re not, although the death numbers haven’t changed, unless they have, because it’s six feet social distance, except when it’s three, because Fauci said, listen to Fauci, but also ignore Fauci, and yea, the vaccine will let you visit friends, but not yet, later, and only if they aren’t vaccinated, or are, because you are still contagious, except when you’re not, because the vaccine doesn’t protect against variants until we have a booster but don’t worry you won’t be required to take a booster, unless you are.
Uncertainty ==> anxiety. It is intentional, no doubt. They want us anxious and afraid.
Even elderly ladies are coming back to the Y after a year. I don't think most of them will go along with another lockdown. They got the vax to resume their lives!!
If a year isn't enough, there never will be an end.
