I, personally, believe it was let out intentionally.
However it doesn't appear we (yet) have strong evidence to definitively conclude this, and it's understandably a big gulp to accept, because it would be an unmistakable act of war, and overt war with China is a frightening and unwelcome prospect indeed. (That's not to say we should fecklessly abandon uncomfortable truths, but until there's more evidence, and an American government resolute enough to act, I don't think trying to convince "normies" that it was an intentional biological is going to be easy or productive.)
I do think the biggest interim step is to have Americans learn and accept that this virus was not the natural product of a random mutation in bad bats sold in the Wuhan "wet markets." Because the CCP-shill media (and by that, I don't mean the Chinese media, of course, but our own traitorous monoculture American media ,who serve as a mouthpiece for the Chinese Communist Party the same way that Kamala Harris served as a mouthpiece for Willie Brown) is still obscenely holding onto the obvious lie that "gosh, no, this totally couldn't have been from a lab studying this exact thing because the Chinese government said so."
So if you have friends who have already thankfully discarded that lie, certainly convey your belief that it was more than just an accident, but I honestly think it's more important at this point to remind them that they are already fully aware of yet another thing that the media is simply lying, in totalitarian fashion, straight to their faces about.
But I'm resigned to the reality that I may spend 10 minutes pecking out a response, and unless it happens to be on a stickied post, it'll likely get read by 2, 3 people here. But I don't mind that - I do it because I like writing and don't get to do this kind of writing often enough for work... and it helps me clarify my own thoughts. Glad this one struck a chord with you.
And I often say (and believe), in any given online group (I'm not normally a huge online person, but I'll be the first to admit, this forum has been a frequent destination for me for the past couple of months?), that "The real gold's in the comments." That's where you'll find the thoughtful answers and the community-building dialogue and the funny comebacks and obscure references. As opposed to the New Posts, where so many people just seem desperate to tell the world about the latest hot breaking from realrawnews... or whatever.

Thank you!
