Virtue-signalling bullshit. He's probably NOT driving anywhere, but if he IS going where he says he is, he will take the most direct route. And the shortest distance between any two points is...... you know, the thing.

And finally, does anyone really care enough about this person to acknowledge this? Sounds like desperation to be relevant to me.
