I forget the source, but I've read regular use of Tylenol will decrease your Vit. D levels. My husband's levels were low and his dr. ordered supplemental Vit. D, he's been taking 1000mg of Tylenol every evening.
Vitamin D needs vitamin K and they both need magnesium. We use Frunutta Vitamin D and K because they are dissolvable and can be used for the whole family.
Tell him to try natural anti inflammatories instead, or things like bromelain, turmeric, heat and ice, infrared light therapy, collagen powder, magnesium, even some herbs like Japanese knotweed — depending on what the SOURCE of the pain is. Research.

He needs to cure whatever is causing the pain. Tylenol not good.
