Ireland severely discourages off grid living but I’m thinking of giving it a go, but am a city girl, so could be a challenge. Plus if some models are true we’ll be wiped by the Atlantic wave anyway, but I am getting tired of being stuck in a city under lockdown... mov by to the country or coast would be nice.
If you have the ability or opportunity, it would be wise to move 1,000 miles from the coast. Obviously, that’s not possible in Ireland.
Mountains aren’t always safe and low lying areas aren’t necessarily unsafe. So much info to consider. All those seeking refuge in underground bases may find that the weight of several miles of ice may throw a wrench in their plans. Several miles high by several thousand miles long!
Cheer up, though. Lots of legends orally passed down tell of visitors from the sky that arrive on the cusp of the change. Sort of like an emergency evacuation. If you make the list put in a good word for the GA crowd. ?
