CEOs of companies like LS are rich people who have become disconnected and who want to live in palatial homes with ten square miles of land and a thousand serfs and a thousand handmaidens.

All of California is their dream. All of the most favored parts of the world.

That's their actual dream. Cabalworld. A kind of child's dream of clouds and cotton candy and endless mommy hugs.
