That's a good question and fair point.
It is my sincere belief, from experience, that God gives great gifts of Spirit to those He tests most harshly.
I think it's also mentioned in the Bible a few times. ?

I get it man. People tend to downvote that particular question here. Often because the person asking it is a jerk about it. You weren't being a jerk, so I replied and upvoted. It's all I can do. But I get it. It's a fair question people have been asking for millenia.
