I'm printing this and posting it on the staff entrance bulletin board at work where, yes, they make us wear a mask. I take mine off at my desk and only put it on when I know a whiny liberal is walking by.
Also, can we add "dental issues" to the list of Health Consequences?, because I swear wearing a mask is fucking up my jaw and teeth.
How so? Do you find yourself clenching and grinding your teeth? Because same.
It's called mask mouth. Increased cavities.
You can find studies that wearing a masks increases the risk of getting gum disease. And you you can find studies that show that having gum disease increases the severity COVID. Now if only someone could put those two studies together...
Probably a result of the week increased muscle tension listed above
Akin to meth unfortunately. Ask if your work will be covering your medical expenses for requiring it, I suggest a grass shield if required. No breathing reduction.

You are very welcome! May you be blessed with good health.
I am thinking it has a lot to do with the inevitable mouth breathing due to the reduction in O2 intake....hence the dry mouth, dry teeth, etc. Mouth breathing means that NO is not picked up & added during each inhalation. Nitric oxide is a vasodilator, among other things. https://bit.ly/3mzGRoA
You might want to look into mewing - tongue posture exercises in which you hold your tongue against the roof of your mouth. There's more to it than that, as the specific technique and position matter. There's a lot about it online and you can see people demonstrating on YouTube. Its advocates say it can reshape the face for the better.
