Went to Knoxville to for our first date in our new home state. We left our masks in the car and only patronized bars and stores that didn’t require them. Most places didn’t turn us away but at one place the employees looked nervously at each other as they weren’t sure if they should boot us. There were very few people wearing masks in general and even though some bars had signs saying masks required we saw people inside not wearing them. It felt so good, it felt so normal. We had a drink at a bar, we took some pictures, we hit a steak house and walked right past all the masked people to our table and had the best night. I’m so glad to be out of New York and settled in TN the land of the free and the home of the brave.

I went to the grocery store yesterday and saw someone wearing a cloth mask, disposable one over it, and a face shield.
I didn't have a mask and our "mandate" ended Friday, but still far too many people with masks on.
When our mandate ends, I may visit the Safeway across the street and King Soopers a short drive away-I will see if their zeal for a mandate is matched by a zeal for opening back up... Hell of a business plan if not...
They may not be able to find employees now. Kek.
Point and laugh. They throw shame our way now it’s our turn!
I like to reach in front of these people to get something I don't need off the shelf. Then I deliberately try to start a conversation so they have to deal with the fact that I seem oblivious (maskless).
