What is puzzling is the meme that is great except I didn't want to post a comment using the meme without first double checking if the airline mentioned was correct. https://files.catbox.moe/715ri6.jpeg Just my lazy ass doing extra work. When I got the answers above it seems very suspicious. Thus I wanted to pole my fellow anons to see what airline they thought it was.
So, I know you thought incorrectly you had to teach this person how to fish when he asked for some food. Incidentally, thanks for the fishing lesson but I'm really partial to handmade split bamboo flyrods. My favorite is a 4wt. 7'6" Bob Lancaster creation that is so smooth it literally casts itself.
Im usually in on a 6wt SAGE XP 8'.
Its gentle enough to present a size 22 or smaller dry hackle if I throw a 12 ft 8x tippet. But its got the backbone to turn a 18in+ Brown in current if I lace up a 6X tippet for nymphing. I tie my own leaders, and experimentation has given me leader recipes that can make almost any rod Ive ever thrown present drys at least one weight lighter... usually 2 weights.
Wish I had a decent bamboo... I have an old one but its been waterlogged at some point before me, and its backbone is too soft.
