Humanity is capable of doing some amazing things but getting people to work together or organizing large projects might be the most difficult aspect.... I had an idea to build small green city's and relocate inner-city people there from ghettos or slums, then tear down the slums and ghettos and create green infrastructure there.. this may not be the solution but I think it would be a good start the problem is money and finding the people, well we could pay these slum or ghetto residents to build their own houses, from the smallest child to the oldest woman teach them, educate them and train them all while working together.... I don't have all the answers or even know every aspect of building large scale but I think if given the chance it could work..
Nothing given is appreciated as much as something earned. A new "Green" infrastructure requires similar upkeep and maintenance as old infrastructure.
'Nothing given is appreciated as much as something earned'' not entirely true.... free beers are great and very much appreciated......... when we can walk to work or grow food in ghettos and slums I consider that green.... society isn't set to think we go for the cheep and easy. few people have vision these days.
