My mom did the same thing, it seemed like everything she accepted was unraveled when she watched John Oliver or Saturday Night Live. It seemed pointless to redpill her but I kept telling her the simple and easy to digest truth while not appearing biased and slowly but surely when the media narrative time and time again failed to hold itself up I simply had to remind her what they said before and what they say now and basically how the "conspiracy theorists" have been right over and over again.

now she comes up to me and tells me what she believes as if she thought of it herself, and I can live with that since she no longer trusts the media
