You can clearly tell by the body cam footage that the officer thought she had drawn her taser, but instead drew her gun. She was distraught after she realized she shot him instead of tased him.
I'm having a real hard time imagining how someone mistakes grabbing a heavy, loaded gun with grabbing a plastic tazer. Does the gun and tazer have the same safety too? How exactly does one mistakingly turn the safety off of a gun, and not realize it's gun? Story sounds like total bullshit, not matter what it looks like.
