How was it different than the flu? It wasnt in any way. Every symptom of wuflu can also be attributed to the flu. They used gaslighting to make you believe it was different.
im inclined to agree. If there was no talk of covid at all and people had this "weird flu" they would literally just say that the flu but they see covid splashed all over their tvs so they are like omg i must have had that.
I had the mystery illness too, but back in late November. It was mostly a persistent dry cough that would make me cough so hard I would gag. Then for maybe two days towards the tail end of it I had some shortness of breath and stuffiness. Then the cough for another week or two and it was gone
My kids also got something super bizarre after I was sick.... my 6 year old son would wake in middle of the night unable to breathe... like he was choking on a marble... I’d have to sit him up and clam him down and it slowly would go away.... scariest shit I ever seen...few times I heard him ‘burp’ and I said if it’s something g in your throat spit it out and he did once .... white bubbles like an over loaded washer machine.... so freaky.... my 13 year old daughter also got the same but less severe.... lasted a good 2-3 weeks .......we called the doctor and she thought it might be more a whooping cough but who the hell knows at this point
I had it. Lots of people did during fall/winter 2019-20. Once Covid dominated the media and the symptoms were being described and plastered everywhere, I think a ton of us went “oh shit it was already here!”
I had that sickness... something I never experienced and was mainly in my chest.. when I googled my symptoms i learned about Wuhan and the crazy lockdowns the Chinese farmers were doing to block roads... it was then I stocked up on food, zinc and elderberry, vitamin c & d and was looked at as a crazy person by my kids ( they would say more food for storage dad and laugh every week as I bought double food )..... few months later the super market was empty and the kids didn't laugh
Preppers for the win! I have had several people acknowledge that I wasn't so crazy after all, last year woke some people up and one of our good friends is now a full on prepper. It is a comforting feeling to not have to worry about panic buying or running out of T.P.!
There was a weird sickness floating around January-March of last year, with plenty of anecdotes from people on .wins.
It seemed different enough from the flu, but the stories also seemed to trickle off around april.
So I think it was something originally, but it probably mutated into nothing, or we reached herd immunity.

And a grainy video of an alleged Chinese person collapsing in the street ... no one has collapsed since as far as I know ...
Add my friends and me to the anecdotes. Weird sickness unlike anything in my life. My friends also experienced it in that time frame.

Same here Pede, identical symptoms.
seasonal flu
Possibly, but many people say it was different from the flu.

Exactly.
