I know a fuckton about the Romulan Star Empire, so why shouldn't I explore the flat earth stuff? True or not isn't even important in the learning phase.

I've learned long ago that many things younger-me disdained are actually important, and things he thought important were complete BS. So I don't put much stock in "The younger version of me thinks this is a stupid idea" anymore. The more I know, the smarter I get on all subjects.

I've learned to turn off the "sneer machine" and just learn stuff.
