I'm beginning to think that part of this Russia stuff is just a ploy for China to get a foothold there. Russia/Siberia are full of natural resources and (as far as I know) China hasn't made any inroads there yet. Get things going between the US and Russia, then slip in through the backdoor, so to speak?
