This technically should be #1. A healthy immune system will fight pretty much any virus that didn't come out of a lab! Dr. Cole was on video before a state legislature and said that "We don't have a FLU season, we have a low vitamin D season".

Obesity is closely related to Vitamin D deficiency. Fatty tissue absorbs fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, and E. Supplements, sometimes very large in cases of actual infection, can help overcome this effect of obesity. Then higher Vitamin D levels inhibit viral reproduction, often ending the infection.
