And here I thought the original settlers of the New World were escaping England due to religious persecution (pilgrims and puritans) and the search for gold (Jamestown founders). Not sure when racism entered the equation. Settlers weren’t racist against the natives. Most of their wars were due to miscommunications and land. ?‍♀️
