I feel like I’m in a torture chamber… New lock down rules so severe… Can’t even leave the province - there will be checkpoints. Police can stop anyone for no reason now. Not allowed to be outside or inside with anyone that is not in your household. Can’t leave vicinity of your home. Very restricted shopping options - Many isles blocked off and cash registers won’t even scan items considered illegal to buy now.. Including notebooks and bicycle helmets. Solicitor General Encouraging people to snitch. Many residents cheering this move on. Vaccine commercials are nonstop. Yes we have hotspots in province but as an example there is a city called Waterloo, population 600,000 where there are four people in ICU and 10 people in the hospital with Covid. Same rules. Please… Make this stop! When justice comes I don’t think any politician here is going to survive with their lives! That’s all I look forward to.

80% brainwashed / 20% red pilled at most. I think we are lost up here. Yes I do think this has something to do with Trudo screwing up the vaccine rollout. We are way behind and Jack Tapper of CNN really roasted him the other day. All of a sudden, today it is announced that we are getting a huge shipment of Pfizer I believe in May sometime so this lockdown I believe is to psychologically break us and beg for the vaccine. The stick and the carrot.
A number of reasons… We have a very large immigrant population. For instance in Toronto we have more than 50% of residents that were not born in Canada. Someone who is relatively newly arrived doesn’t rock the boat generally. They’re happy to be here and want to blend in. As well, they may have left somewhere far worse. In addition our media is very very one sided - Has become more so since the business model for media is broken… It now depends on government handouts to not go bankrupt so it is somewhat financially dangerous to go against the government. We also have a national public broadcaster that receives huge funding from the liberal government - The top executives have never had to reveal their salaries but I imagine they are massive. In my mind this creates huge collusion with the government. Right now I so wish I was American! I mentioned that to my girlfriend and she recoiled with horror - Americans here are portrayed as gun toting / mass shooting , no healthcare , heartless capitalists.
It’s actually brainwashing… Years of media slandering of Americans. You would be surprised - When the pandemic first hit, lots of stories about Canadians wondering about their snowbird days in Florida and whether “values” were aligned Between us and Americans. It was truly cringe worthy… Like a lot of left-wing media is.
This speaks to me as a torontonian. Are you me lol?
People do not even know how to stand together - The media has a complete black out… Does not even show protests anymore so are completely unaware that there are protests going on. In the beginning they did show protests and labelled everyone as covoidiots. I want to see propaganda CBC smashed into a million pieces.
Canada's immigration policy is among the most lenient in the western world. The Fed government wrecklessly gives away money and no dema d or requirement is made to assimilate. This attracts a very different kind of immigrant.
I recently met a neighbor from Iraq-he served as an interpreter for the U S troops 8 years ago-he loves this country and feels he is living life as a king.. He has more based patriotism than a thousand normies.. you have to live in a shithole to truly appreciate the gift of America...
My experience with Canadians is that they are very polite. Maybe they think it’s rude to protest (Unless over hockey)? Not being sarcastic. It’s probably a cultural thing to be this accommodating.
Canada is cucked because we're the only country in the world that was given independence against our wills. If Britain hadn't spun us free against our own desire, we'd still be a part of the UK to this day, no doubt. Perfectly satisfied.
Back in the day, settlers were literally picked off the streets of London and Paris and forced to move to Canada, since nobody would willingly come here where it was so cold and there was no infrastructure or anything. It created a culture of submission and dependence on government.
Even when France controlled all of Canada, it would trade parts of Canada for possessions in the Caribbean or other locations that were considered more valuable back in the day. So even France didn't really want us. Canada has always had this culture of neediness and servile worship towards the greater powers around it. For instance, Canadian culture is obsessed with gaining USA approval and recognition. We despise our own artists and musicians when they are only known here, but the minute they become famous in the US then we love them like epic heroes. It's sickening.
Well for one, nearly all of the media is state controlled.
