Magazine, was about a 'crisis' involving the elderly,
the MARITIME, AND Quebec.
HOW did they know about the maritime being involved over 20 years ago? crazy.

Well, that sent me down another rabbit hole. Author is prolific. I couldn't find anything on that short story, which is strange enough. His last book:

the George Magazine intro to Elder Skelter calls him a scene fiction 'scribe'. thought that was a Biblical choice of words...
on the contributor's page in the magazine, Mr. Turtledove said of writing his stories;
"they let me look at reality through a kind of fun-house mirror".
And "do thought experiments on things that are counterfactual"...
makes me wonder what kind of technology these 'artists' / their bosses have access to.

It's been very quiet in the lake this week. Too quiet, maybe. I've noticed a distinct drop-off of UFO (Unidentified Floating Object) beacon activity around the EG in the past few days. Just the usual convoy traffic, interspersed with hours of EG floating by herself in the lake.

The negotiations between the SCA & Evergreen (charterer) seem to be getting nowhere fast. Bail has gone from $1B, to $900M, back up to $916M. Is someone stalling? There's a whole lot we still don't know, and news reports from many different international sources repeat a lot of the same unhelpful info, including that "sandstorm" story. I keep scanning for something conclusive about the investigation to surface.
So far, the most interesting nugget has been that Turkish journalist talking about Gates's evil plot and the Globalists getting slapped in the face. Anyone heard anything more about that angle?
