If they have buses, they could be anywhere. If their transportation is more limited, the nearest lodging to the Fairgrounds that is cheap and busy is along Thomas Rd. near I-17. Only about 1-2 miles. Big hub of cheap busy hotels along I-10 and 51st Ave. also, but that is about 6 miles.
