Catholic Church has been in Crisis for decades. With problems only getting increasingly pronounced. Attendance has been declining. Donations falling. Scandals out the wazoo. Improperly handling money. A Bureaucracy that has at best been incompetent and at worst deliberately criminal.

Mounting Staffing issues as the numbers of new Priests have reached the lowest numbers in decades. Leading to Priests not suited to actually being a public face of the church being placed in charge of Parishes and Churches and predictably fucking up.

Ranking Clergy that are more or less out completely of touch with the lives of their parishioners, and with situations on the ground. Hence increasingly inane and stupid decisions.

The typical politicking and bureaucratic mess that comes with an organization as old as the Catholic Church. Meaning problems are slow to be addressed and fixed. With people being more likely to hide such problems as it could cost them political appointments.

Then you add in that everyone and their brother has been infiltrating the Catholic Church for centuries if not longer. In recent years it was the Communists and Fascists. In previous years various Governments and Monarchies would send off people to join the church. So they could gain influence and use the church against opposition.

Then there’s the various Religious Orders that are also competing for influence in the church. Jesuits, Franciscans etc.

It’s also an open secret no one likes to mention that various mystic and occult groups that are at best heretical and at worst satanic operate within the church and the various competing sides, orders, and groups there in.

There’s also limited but mounting evidence that the process for Sainthood and declaring people Saints was used to throw off, deter or prevent investigation into the private lives of various Saints who may not have been as Saintly as their public face would have one believe.

There’s also some indication that the Modern Catholic Church doesn’t know precisely what is in their own archives.

Then there’s also various Theological Schools have become essentially political ideology. Leading to the predictable issues with competing ideology. With Liberation Theology being the main focus at the moment and being very popular in Central and South America and Europe.

Also small but growing voices are questioning whether the Bible is actually complete. Citing the history of the early Christian church and the decentralized nature of it leading to the idea that perhaps information was lost or deliberately kept from it over fears it would challenge the power of early church leaders who were beginning to assemble what would become the Modern Catholic Church.

The Pedo crap is really only the tip of the Iceberg when it comes to issues in the Catholic Church. This is also not even diving into the Deepstate, Cabal, Illuminati and Jesuit stuff. But mostly surface level stuff.
