I just checked Pittsburgh Post gazette obituaries. I used the same dates for three years going back...2020, 2019, 2018. In most cases or dates I happened to randomly choose, numbers of obituaries were lower in 2020 than prior two years. I used various dates and various months. For NONE of the dates I used did 2020 figures spike.

Sorry, my mistake. Post # 4953 was December 8th. Not sure why I thought it was before the election. I don't recall any other long absences, but I've only been following since the election.
