What the leftists can’t understand is that many Christians are comfortable with their own mortality and are not entirely scared by the prospects of death. Yes, we want to live longer for our family, etc but when it’s our time, it’s our time and we’re going to a better place.
As atheists and agnostics, the leftists are terrified of Covid because they have no comfort in what happens after they die. In fact many have spent most of their entire lives hating on Christianity and I suspect deep down they may be a little nervous about that.
I think you raise a good point. You have to live your life with death in it. I understand the fear of the unknown, but it is the one universal event that we will all experience at some point.
