This is BS all the way around. A jury fearful of retaliation, elected officials calling for riots, the so called leader of the US (I refuse to call him the president) calling the family before the verdict and not to mention the $27 MILLION dollar payoff to the family before the trial which to me was an admission of quilt by the authorities, what a sham, what a disgrace. Immediate mistrial in my opinion. No justice or protection for law enforcement, everything in the courts is to protect the rights of criminals. What about protecting those who peacefully and respectfully obey the laws?
Honestly I don't think the jury was fearful at all. I think the selection for jurors wasn't ever going to be fair. The demographics for that area are weighted against a "not guilty" verdict.
It was unanimous though.
I was replying to the above post that the jurors were fearful to vote Not Guilty.
I don't believe they were fearful. I believe they had already decided thier individual minds up of a verdict Guilty long ago without listening and evaluating the evidence provided.
