You wear your mask, even though they have no health benefit and the mask mandates were never based in fact.
You shut down your business and stayed home from work and school, so every person in town can all go to Wal-Mart at the same time, and you thanked them for it.
You get whipped up into a frenzy over every media hoax, then when it's proven to be a fake made-up narrative, you just move on.
You refuse to consider any factual basis in truth or reality, and instead just morph every argument into "racism".
You have been abused, and you love your abuser.
You are in a cult.
If you stop berserking for 5 minutes and question even 1 part of the fake narrative you've devoted yourself to, you'll see a crack in the facade.
(Dedicated to all our new friends joining us lately.)
My wife and I recently met with some old friends who are very warm, very genuine people. I was happy to see them, but I felt profoundly disturbed when we left. In the course of the evening, we got into a discussion about current things, and they were absolutely shocked by my suggestion that almost everything they hear on the news is a lie. They were also shocked by my assertion that the presidential election was stolen. (These are conservative-voting people who don’t watch CNN!) I was asked how that can be true when the courts found no evidence of cheating? WHAT?!?!? I thought there would be some common ground just from what can be observed of ongoing shenanigans, but it was like they were visiting from another planet where all the judges are still fine upstanding folks who don’t party with people like Jeffry Epstein. I was briefly discouraged, wondering how many others there were like this, but hope returned when I considered the fact that Trump won the 2020 election in an unprecedented landslide before Democrat cheating kicked in. There are a LOT of people who know the truth, and more are discovering it every day. I’m just thankful that even if our friends never take the red pills I left on the table, they’re the kind of people who know how to disagree without getting hostile.
It's good to have these conversations. If they ever question the narrative, they know they can ask you about it
Seeds only grow when planted. It's never a waste of time even if you can't see it take root. A seed spread on infertile ground might still be picked up by a passing bird and get shit out someplace better.
