Pretty much like Mitch McConnel has come groveling back to Trump, to "work with him". Guess he finally realized Trump is the most powerful man on the right, and not him.

We needed Stalin to win WW2. Then we proceeded to a cold war that lasted decades.

Mitch isn't a player any more. He is a pawn to be used and sacrificed by Trump. To win a war you need many pawns, and they can be easily sacrificed.
