In the past week or so, came across a thread here with many comments about COVID-19 treatments. The usual suspects, Ivermectin & Hydroxychloroquine were mentioned, as well as, preventative measures like vitamin D supplements, living healthily, and so on.
There was another drug/treatment mentioned which I hadn't come across before, think it started with an "a", and was meaning to look into it more. Haven't been able to find the thread again, after several searches through my saved files, liked threads here, and so forth.
Does anyone happen to know which treatment I'm probably referring to here?
that is the pharmaceutical name for a "Z-pack" - commonly given anti-biotic for respiratory infections.
For those interested, you can get anti-biotics including azithromycin from online pet stores (and Tractor supply carries some too, ymmv). They sell, over the counter, treatments for "fish" and "birds", that come in human dosages, and the pills look identical to the prescription meds, they are supposedly made in the same factories, just labeled differently.
-Penicillin is Fish Pen
-Amoxicillin is Fish Mox
-Azithromycin is sold as Bird Zithro... although this brand has been sold out for a year, I purchased another brand but I don't know how good it is?!?
There are many, many different types of anti-biotics to treat many different ailments for your "pets". I prefer the Thomas Labs brand. Do your own research on it, there are many videos on YT discussing it.... still seek medical treatment if you can, I personally only buy/store these meds for an end of the world scenario. And shop around, some places might have better prices or better shipping options, I just pulled the first links I found when google searching.
Good to know, thank you.
