Dihydrogen monoxide is truly dreadful stuff.
Small amounts can kill; it was used in the Nazi death camps; your children could encounter it while playing. If you suspect that some has found its way on to the surface of fruit you can wash it as much as you like but some residue will remain.
In its gaseous form it can cause severe burns. It forms a major component of acid rain and it creates more global warming than CO2.
Planes and boats from foreign countries can bring DHMO into your country without you necessarily knowing.
It is so dangerous that delegates at the Cancun Climate Conference signed a petition against it.
If you ingest too much you can OD on it.
In solid form it cause multi-vehicle pile-ups and cripple transportation.
I ingested quite a bit one summer and experienced excessive urination afterwards.
Glad to hear you are okay. Praise God!
H2O, water. Sorry frens, I was once a journalist, i.e. senior editor, and i know, people do not understand irony, so do not use it.
But "people not understanding" is the problem. It will only be when people can see through the spin of a re-branding exercise or of one-sided news reporting that we will be able to make progress.
Contrast: Would you want your children to encounter a substance that can kill and was used in the Nazi death camps? With: Would you want your children to be deprived of a life-giving liquid?
That compares exactly with how the Mueller Report conflated Carter Page and Russia at every opportunity while failing to mention that he was a consultant in the area of Russian energy and the most contentious of his meetings was arranged by Trump's opponents to incriminate Page and, by associaltion, make Trump look bad.
All that while "forgetting" to mention that Page was a patriot who had helped CIA/FBI to catch Russian criminals previously.
If people cannot see through the spin we are doomed.
^^^^^^TRUTH BQQQM!
Your link is a great article, BTW.
I presume you have seen this one.
Yes, I keep a copy of the MSDS with me at all times, people just have no idea how common and dangerous it is. Sad.
