Orally. Husband's company president's brother is a doctor so he prescribed a bunch of HCQ. Covid blew through 15 people at the office and everyone took the HCQ and it was nothing (along with the z-pack and vitamins). I got it on the late end of the breakout, about 2 weeks after my husband got it. So the company president gives me ivermectin, not sure how that happened. But they said to take 4 each day on an empty stomach and they gave me 2 days' worth (along with the z-pack and vitamins). So I only took 2 days but it knocked out my fever, I was the only one who really had a fever and it was 102.9. The worst of it (besides the fever) was that I lost my voice. One night I was craving food from the sushi place up the road & I couldn't call it in because I had no voice & I was home alone, and so I had to order online (their menu isn't updated so I couldn't specify all the little swaps and specialty instructions, but I would have been happy with anything). The food arrived on my doorstep and apparently, the girl down the street knew it was for me & automatically made all those swaps and specialty requests on her own & added a bar of big dark chocolate & orange candy in there with a note wishing me a happy new year.
Glad all is well. I figured if I got it again— had it Feb of 2020 I think— but I will call Frontline Doctors for the HCQ cure. Would rather do a cure than a limited tested vaccine.
