Whatever is happening in London, it brings a tear of joy to my eye!

I hope they are revolting against their lock downs. Canada.... your turn!
You would have to take their beer and hockey away. Then Katie bar the door.
Ha! Sadly, this is probably true. The people in my city in Canada are just eating up everything the media tells them and climbing over each other to get the vax. It seems that loss of freedom isn’t enough, you’re probably right that they’d need to take away our alcohol before anyone would actually fight back...
Plying people with legal weed was also very timely, don't you think ?? It makes the populace much more passive and ready to give in.
I was stationed in the maritimes quite some time ago. Made great friends that I'll never forget and have very fond memories of playing hockey. I was up there when Trudeaux brought the fake refugees (2014). I saw right through it and tried to warn people, loosing a few friends in the process. IMO, Canada was founded by loyalists and IMHO - that inane respect for authority is in their DNA. Now that the US has broken some ties with the UK, the commonwealth is coming apart at the seams and there are many factions vying for power in our resource- rich neighbour to the north. Once we get our act together, we may just have to come up there to help you kick out the commies.
Actually, that’s a really good point. I just said to my husband the other day how I’m shocked at how many cannabis places are starting up. Anytime a small business closes down, a cannabis shop goes up in its place. It’s actually starting to really weird me out... I think cannabis shops might be starting to outnumber liquor stores in my city. There must be demand for it, otherwise why are there so many? And haha that would be great, we definitely need something to light a fire under our butts for any change to happen, IMO.
Pure conjecture and musings from someone married to a Canadian, living within 50 miles of the border, visiting Canada 100s of times and with family of my own in the maritimes not to leave out inlaws in Ontario:
I think it likely that at some point in the future, when this danger has passed, large portions of Canada become incorporated into the US.
The Maritimes and Prairie Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba could be absorbed. I think they would welcome it. Their cultures and values no longer match up with the liberal hellholes at all.
Ontario and Quebec/Labrador could try it alone although I think only Ontario has the wherewithal to do so.
Not sure what would happen with the Canadian arctic Territories or BC. None of them could survive independently. BC may just become Chinas most eastern Province. Its close already.
I really do think that of all the nations of the world Canada is at greatest risk of not being here when this is done. They have never found their own way in the world. They have always been dependant on England and the US for their survival. They are only just barely an independant country now.
