I got this idea from a comment made by rooftoptendie. For those of you who considered yourself leftists but had an awakening and now are on the right, if you would, please tell us about your conversion. What made you rethink your stance? What specific things happened that caused you to become redpilled?
It would be interesting to hear your stories, to try to understand the mindset of a leftist and why they believe and think the way they do. But it may also be very helpful in giving tips to those trying to redpill their family and friends. Thanks if you choose to participate.
So you were a Bernie bro who recognized hil for what she is, and wound up voting Trump as a sort of protest vote? Is that right? Did you ever get fully on board the Trump train - actually embracing the policies on the right?
I always hated Hillary. The only vote I ever gave Obama was in the primaries against her. Bernie was literally dead to me once he cucked out to Hillary.
I voted 3rd party in 2016. I've said it a few times before, that if the election had been held a week or two later, I would have voted for Trump. I never had TDS and someone on /r/HillaryForPrison linked to a blog post debunking every media lie about Trump at that point.
Maybe a year or two after that I was comfortable with saying I lean libertarian. I will never vote for anyone who is socialist or sympathetic to socialism at this point.
Interesting! Another disaffected Bernie bro. Did you save that post debunking media's lies about Trump? If so, or if you could find it, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd send it to me. I'm sure a lot of people here would love to see it if you'd post it, in fact. Thanks for answering. It's good to hear what affects people. Glad you've made the change.
I wish I still had it! Can't even remember the title now. I don't think it was even written by a Trump supporter.
Wow. Even more interesting! Too bad. Oh well, thanks. If you happen to remember, I hope you'll look for it. That would go over very well on this board. :D
