I’m from a small town and I work in the ag industry. There is a lot of misinformation that goes around about corn and soybeans.
Are there healthier alternatives out there? Of course.
Is soy and corn “dangerous” to your health? Like anything, yes, it can be dangerous if taken in extremely high doses over a very long period of time.
Be aware of who is promoting the “dangers” of using crops grown by our farmers and small communities, and be aware of what their motives might be. Be conscious of who funds the studies and publishes the articles.
Cocoa may be healthier, but look where it comes from and how it is grown. Cocoa is the product of child labor and slavery in third world countries. Corrupt corporations can make a lot more money using child labor and slavery producing cocoa than they can from corn and soy grown by our farmers here in the US.
I’m simply trying to bring awareness to these issues here since I know this community is very open minded to viewpoints that don’t fit the common narrative.
