Magnesium Citrate capsules will do the trick with no pain/cramping/craziness. just make sure to drink a glass of water or an electrolyte drink. when I take this if I havent had enough water I feel a wee bit sick but a bite of bread and a glass of water and that feeling goes away immediately. but it's the quickest, most natural feeling thing I've ever taken. no insane HOLYFUCKGOTTAGONOW feels either, but doesnt take days to work.
I take Now brand and 3 caps=400mg and i usually take 2 caps, wait then a 3rd if needed after an hour or 2. if you take more just drink another glass of water & you should be golden!
if you're in a reeeeally bad spot, I'd get the liquid mag citrate at Walgreens/RiteAid - I'm not sure how many mgs that is but it's WAY stronger. after a surgery where I was on Percocets for a week and in a dire situation, that old trusty worked for me. that one is a little harsher but if you're in a bad situation it won't be dire, it will be just right. I'm p sure the liquid bottle stuff is what they tell people to take before colonics. just be sure to hydrate/get a Pedialyte at the pharm when you buy the mag citrate. the fruit punch flavor is the best. hopefully that will help!!
