I didn't get my first shot today and I feel great. No side affects or even any soreness. I think I'll do Deadlifts today. Just wanted to share, I'll report back after not getting the 2nd jab weeks from now.

We live in the SF Bay Area. We're definitely the minority in not getting vaxxed. My daughter is in high-school and most of her friends have been vaxxed.
If it is meant to be, your daughter will have children one day, and you will be a grandparent. She has protected her fertility. Her friends have not.
Although it looks like people are getting sick and infertal just being around vaxxed people now. Have heard several crazy stories and my wife suddenly became ill after being around a vaxxed person for a few hours. What the Hell is going on??

Doctors are suspecting that vaccinated people are now producing or shedding something that harms the non-vaccinated. This is very new. They have some ideas why this is happening, but need more data. If this is true, it is VERY SCARY, and maybe they will succeed in killing most of us.

Same here in Chicago. My son got his first shot today. Told him not to but he's an adult. He's really tired. Wanted to work out but decided he isn't going to go.
Hang tough! Peer pressure, especially at that age and college is so pervasive. Mine are now adults in 20's and have internalized all I've shared over the years. No jabs for the last 14 or more years (including college). Having a canned response that feels good to say is key when everyone is asking, "Did you" or "When are you?" I like the "I was asked to be in the control group for this experiment" or "I had the virus, so have full immunity". The Bay Area is tough right now.
I prefer to tell the truth and not perpetuate the hoax.
Its harder for kids with peer pressure. If you are a teen, good for you.
I guess there's no harm in teaching your kids to betray their morals, and lie, in to appease tyrants by giving them their public endorsement and providing excuse to their betters.
Other people will teach their kids different things, but given the societal reaction to COVID-19, I'd guess most agree with you.
