I was done with the Oscars years ago, along with every other awards show. It’s just too sad to watch these smug self-righteous people congratulate themselves, exulting in their political correctness, trying to outdo each other’s pretend virtue while they heap scorn upon their audience. No thank you. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that the least moral, least together group of people on the planet presume to tell us flyover folks, whom they deeply despise, what to think. They pretend for a living, and their opinions, like their accolades, do not matter at all. I'm glad the ratings tanked.
