Priorities for hiring seem a bit skewed.

I hear you on that. It's very tough to hire out here in Oregon to find good labor for a parts position. Business are hiring all over the place, but the homeless gets more and more. My only grief is that the cost of living + taxes and insurance have crushed young Americans working spirit. Russians can take that money back to Russia and feel like they made some good coin due to currency exchange. A college person who doesn't work full time in America can hardly get buy. A $800 paycheck is not even enough to pay rent, book costs or tuition these days, groceries, ect. A person who works full time after college may make $20 an hour if lucky. But will probably be left with $1000 dollars after taxes, health insurance, car payment, and student loans, then are left $200 of free income after words for groceries. I can see how many young people are just tired of working all day long and barely have enough to do anything.
Sounds like a commie state not worth living in. I'd move.
