You've been there, but now you're here. Congratulations! How did you do it?
I rally’d my 3 grown children who oversaw my detox initially. Then I found Christ. Then I survived cancer...on a health kick been a rough road. All started with Dr prescribed pain meds. Edit; (NOT self-promotion, just responding).
In my humble opinion, I would assume that finding Jesus was the key. Just imagine if you got cancer while having a drug addiction without knowing Jesus... and yes, meds are an easy way to addiction. The movie "Requiem for a dream" showed that really well to me.
Agreed ?? TY
It's good to put this out there. Some believe it's not possible to recover. You're the voice tht lets them know that with God it IS possible.
It really IS part of The Great Awakening.
After the unconditional love my children displayed, and I had asked THEM for help, I thought maybe there’s still time for redemption? I figured I asked them, now I’ll ask Him. I prayed for several days straight and it hit me like a wave of love. Seriously. I knew iHis Grace was REAL because EVERYTHING then was put in perspective. What I mean is...old music just seemed “wrong”, I lost any prejudices I had AND (amazingly) I just stopped cussing. Truly miraculous. You gotta WANT IT in your heart. Now there’s the OLD ME, and the REAL ME. Don’t get me wrong, I still mess-up. He forgives ALL. Here & now we must pray for Katelyn ?
That is amazing and I used to think stories like yours were well weird. That is until I found it myself. God is good.v
"You gotta WANT IT in your heart."
