As a parent I always thing about my kids and how they are doing so I took a look at this. A CDC link to some data and the 3500/yr mention and this is a recent report/video of 2011-2017 study that is informational This is a wiki, fwiw, of deaths by police I just think we should be having commercials/media that remind parents about the type of bedding to use and keep the sleeping environment safe. Not about when a cop gets in a tight spot and makes a split second decision where a high percentage that person is a felon/criminal. Sure bad cops should be busted, but let’s leave that up to the courts. I know I know. But 3,820 is a helluva lot less than 35,000 amirite? Let’s always think about the KIDS!

I remember reading that the numbers did drop and I searched for a source, this is the first link I found https://www.bmj.com/content/369/bmj.m2392/rr-1
Interesting quote from that article: American pediatric officials have steadfastly dismissed any role for vaccines in the causation of SIDS, based on a selection of observational studies. Nevertheless, until properly controlled trials are done we will be unable to confirm or exclude a causal role for vaccines.
Of course they would. They want all peds vaccinating as many babies as they can
